Why Gordo is Not Our Man

Please could you roll back to page one and actually read the Business Case for firing Gordo?

As CEO of BC, his job is to make everything run well and clearly starting by giving his buds a big tax break wasn’t going to do that. Since then there are few things to point to that were his doing and that actually gained money or services for the province. I can’t think of any. Can you? Show me.

As citizens and taxpayers who have hired this dictator-like CEO, we have the obligation to make sure he’s doing his job and I just can’t see that as I mentioned above. So far no one has shown me what Campbell has done for the economy or anything else in BC. The so-called “trickle down theory” of economics does not work. Any number of books and economic histories prove that. How much of a tax break did you get? Anyone who makes less than $30,000/year got only around $400/year. In addition, this resulted in just another excuse to rape services.

You may think Carole James a fool http://carolejamessaid.ca/. Then take a look at the MLAs in your area and vote for the one you like best as you are not voting for her just as in fact, you didn’t vote for Campbell either. That’s not how our system is supposed to work. Due to the fact that there was no opposition in the ledge, Gordo could do anything he wanted or make his flunkies do it.

Even if you are not poor, sick, a woman, a child, a fired worker or believe that you haven’t been affected by his policies, you will notice them sooner than you think as once again Gordo does the old bate and switch. Are you really going to be that gullible and re-elect him? If so, why? Tell me one reason.

This is not the way our system is meant to work. And incidentally Canada is generally referred to as a social democracy these days, though in fact, it’s not socialistic and certainly not democratic. Only we can hold our gov to these standards.

Gordo's Past Performance

Hey again,

Even knowing that in Canada, personal attacks on politicians are considered dirty politics, I can’t seem to help myself stop posting these two little things that remind us that Gordo, puppet though he may be, is in no position to be in charge of BC or anything else for that matter.

I don’t hate him anymore and that’s a relief but I know that he’s got the most death threats of any BC politician (and possibly andy Canadian poltician) than any other and that we taxpayers cover the costs of his security.

The primary way that I can understand why the recall petition (which I worked on) could be won, was that we needed more signatures against him than the total number of people who voted in all of Point Grey.

The region he represents as MLA is Point Grey though he no longer lives there. He sold his house there and now I don’t know where in Vancouver he lives though I’m sure lots of people do. It’s a sure thing that no matter where he lives, there are still enough uninformed people out there who don’t vote on performance but for other dumb, unthought out reasons. Also he has a lot of family here and many who owe him favours, no doubt.

Now that I’ve got that out of my system here is Maui Waui

and here’s his mug shot!
